If you happen to have a spare minute I would ask that you say a prayer for my Aunt Janell. She was very recently diagnosed with cancer—a cancer they have classified as very aggressive. She is quite young (45ish) and she and my uncle have 3 children, with their youngest daughter being about 18 years old. They live in Philadelphia, PA but she has been staying down in Houston, TX with their middle son (Philip) in order to have access to the best treatment available. Understandably it’s been a very difficult time for the entire family and I know they would appreciate any prayers you would have time to speak. We’re believing for the best possible outcome for the entire situation. Thank you!

Mark – thanks for sharing this prayer request. Is she on your mom or your dad’s side?
As I started to pray for Janell the phrase “Jesus came” popped into my mind. I looked it up and found this verse – Matt. 17:7 – “And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.” This is really a profound verse, and the thing that strikes me the most is that the most important thing is that “Jesus came.” That’s really the whole point, isn’t it? We want Jesus to come into our lives in a real and awesome way. I pray that Jesus, our Savior, would come into the lives of both Janell and her family in all His glory, and what results from that encounter will be true healing.
She is on my mother’s side of the family.

It’s late, and it’s “bedtime for Bonzo” (for me). Just wanted you to know that I too am praying and believing for our Lord to touch Janell and bring wholeness to her. My prayer for Janell is ” That He would minister to the need in her life right now and make Jesus real to Janell in her present situation–in Jesus Name, Amen. That He will wrap His arms of Love around Janell and each member of her family, just now–in Jesus Name, Amen. May “the Peace of God rule in each of your hearts” knowing that God’s Presence is with you! I love each of you!!!
